Site-Based Decision Making Team (SBDMT)
The Northern Site-Based Decision Making Team (SBDMT) is a shared decision making group where a variety of members of the school community collaborate, where appropriate, in identifying problems, defining goals, formulating policy, shaping directions and ensuring implementation of decisions. The team has members representing teachers, classified staff, parents and students. The SBDMT shall reflect the demographics of the school, staff and community.
The team will meet once each month. The meeting dates for the rest of this year are:
January 27
February 17
March 24
April 28
May 12.
The meetings are at 2:45 in the library. Team make-up includes: representatives from each department, a classified staff member, five students, six parents, an assistant principal, and the principal. The chair will be selected at the first meeting.
DPS 2005.2 Goals of Site-Based Decision Making: The goals of site-based decision making are to increase student performance, to increase community satisfaction with each school and with the school system, to enhance the working environment for educators, and to make efficient use of resources.
